Steve Frappier began has over 30 years of experience in structured settlements.
Steve specializes in analyzing life care plans, economic reports and the design of creative settlement options. He has extensive experience in medical malpractice cases and has been a guest lecturer at several physicians and hospital meetings.
After completing his studies at Cambridge School of Business, he began his insurance career with Hartford Life Insurance Company in Boston, Massachusetts. He moved to California in 1974 and began working as an analyst for a company providing broad litigation support services. Steve developed an early spreadsheet computer model for projecting future wage and benefit loss, personal consumption analysis, future medical care and other elements of special damages.
Steve is a member of The Society of Settlement Planners (SSP) and the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA). He has earned the designation of Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC), administered by the NSSTA, and developed in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame Executive Education Department. The CSSC is the structured settlements industry’s oldest and most respected designation, establishing educational standards for structured settlement professionals. The CSSC program consists of more than 80 hours of classroom and study culminating in a comprehensive examination and provides an objective measure of an individual’s broad based knowledge and competency in structured settlements.
Steve’s personal interests include world travel, sports and American roots music. He is very involved in the food and wine culture of Northern California and he relaxes by cooking on the weekends at family gatherings.
