Justin Giorgetti has been a Structured Settlements Consultant since February of 2005. Prior to joining Atlas in 2020, Justin was with Structured Financial Associates. Over the course of his structured settlements career, Justin has worked on thousands of personal injury cases including Commercial and Personal Liability, Mass Tort E. Coli, Medical Malpractice, NY Labor Law, Automobile and Worker’s Compensation claims.
Since the inception of Justin’s Structured Settlements career, he has been working in tandem with his father, Raymond Giorgetti. Some of the services that Justin provides includes 50A analysis (NY Medical Malpractice), 50B analysis (NY Personal Injury), Needs Analysis, cost analysis of Life Care Plans and Economic reports. Justin can also assist with Medical Indemnity Fund Computations and Kaiser Apportionment calculations on NY wrongful death cases.
Justin is knowledgeable regarding Special Needs Trusts and Medicare Set-Aside arrangements and understands the importance of utilizing these tools to ensure that government benefits are not compromised by settlement.
Most notably, Justin custom built a 50A worksheet that computes the periodic payment judgment of an actual or hypothetical verdict in accordance with CPLR 50A (NY Medical Malpractice). The calculations determine the periodic payment amounts, lump sum dropouts, present value and annuity cost, which assists his clients with properly evaluating settlements and/or writing an actual judgment.
Justin earned a BA in Business Marketing from Hofstra University. He is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA).
While studying at Hofstra University, Justin was employed as a cook at a continental cusine Restaurant where he learned to make many Italian and French dishes. Justin continues to enjoy cooking as a hobby and often cooks for his friends and family. Justin is also an avid sports fan and follows all of NY’s major sports teams. Aside from cooking and following sports, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife Alisa and two young children Miabella and Michael.
